This is excellent footage on Ralph Stanley. He goes into his routine of introducing himself. Usually he will go right into 'Room at the Top of the Stairs' written by Randall Hylton. Instead he does 'Man of Constant Sorrow', 'Pretty Polly' and then 'Oh Death' Do go and see this truly fine Virginian!!!

I have bought the majority of his recordings over the years. Does a gospel song, Lift Him Up, That's All'. I feel like the world should know about him!!!

Also on this stage, it was being broadcast on the radio plus they had someone signing all evening. Didn't quite understand why?
