The eclipse of 1999 was my first total solar eclipse. Unfortunately the sky was overcast during totality. Nevertheless it was impressive and we had fun. We observed the eclipse near Metz in France.
'McMurdo' Panorama from NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit. The overall panorama consists of 1,449 images. It is thus the largest, highest-fidelity view of Mars acquired from either rover.
